Subject: [Talk] Task Schedulers for Boston Scripts

What is the best task scheduler to use for Boston Workstation
scripts? I have 5 scripts that run multiple times during the day
{disaster recovery, file downloads, hard copy prints, etc}, and they all
seem to run at different durations and times, so the possibility of one
running on top of another exists. I have used the task scheduler within
Windows 2003 server, and it is pretty limited. I am looking for an
alternative that will allow jobs to specifically run at the desired
times, and if another job comes up to run at the same time, the
scheduler will queue the new job to run after the current is finished.
My current setup (the windows task scheduler), doesn't care if another
job comes up. It runs them both simultaneous. Then, both jobs seem to
lose focus and stall out, or they get a run-time errors. I looked at
the scheduler within the Boston software, but it didn't suit my
requirements. Any suggestions???

        Thanks,
