Subject: [Talk] Feature request

Ability to import and export an entire rules based project (or even just all
scripts within the project) instead of just single script by single script.

Recently I had to run through one of my larger projects to modify a part in
each script. If I were able to export the entire catalog of scripts to text,
do pattern match replacing (using TextPad), then import it back into the
project, I would have saved myself a few hours.

While I’m on the subject, When you copy rules to text then paste them back
into notepad/textpad, it looks as if the indentation of the scripts was only
given a half hearted effort. What I am seeing is that the steps are left
aligned, and the first item within that step is tabbed in 5 characters. Any
subsequent lines are not tabbed at all. Very ugly.

Could we reduce the tab to maybe 3 spaces, and tab in ALL non-step lines.
Perhaps even do an extra 3 character tab for all non-rule lines also.

This would make the text version of rules based scripts much easier to read.

Thank you,

Mitch Lawrence
