There's a lot on Groklaw about how MS rammed OOXML through ISO and
pretty much crippled the committee in the process.

I can get Office 365 for free through work, but haven't bothered.  They
don't seem to have a Linux version available, so I'd have to run it in a
VM or only on my notebook, when booted into Windows.
