try running "ip addr"
There are some aliases that will not be reported back by ifconfig.

I have reset all the routers between these two machines in case

machine. I've done everything except for resetting the target itself.
Also I have a daemon on the target which is doing 'C' system calls
with getifaddrs(&ifap) library calls and it reports back both
192.168.11.50 and 192.168.11.133 even though ifconfig does not.
Anybody have a clue what is going on here?
