I have used this and got it working with some help from members of
this list. Works fine for me. Also has the database of all the zip
codes.

This is a little late into the discussion, but this web site
<http://www.micahcarrick.com/v2/content/view/4/22/> was mentioned
on another PHP forum as a zipcode class. It might help you. I have
not tried it.
