I am currently working for a company called "USA Contact Point" as a 1099 contractor. The Job is basically a customer service job, but, it is a work-from-home job, and, they like for their workers to use Google Chrome. Previous to this, I did the job using ChromeVox, which worked, but, felt more clunky than the regular Web support offered by Window-Eyes. I found out I could use Chrome just for the phone part of the interface, and, I could use Internet Explorer to access the customer look-up part of the system. Some times, though, the support people at the company would complain that I was using Internet Explorer, and, would tell me to only use Chrome. Now that Window-Eyes supports Chrome, I can do almost all of the job without using Internet Explorer, except for a couple screens, where I still need the mouse clicks instead of keyboard use. By the way, the mouse support in Internet Explorer has helped me to do the job before the Chrome support became a reality, so, my hats off to AI Squared's Window-Eyes team, an, to GW Micro before that. Window-Eyes is helping me to keep paying the family expenses-or at least add to what we already receive. Thanks again for all the great work. It is really appreciated. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
