I see now, though, that I neglected to say I'm using Excel for Office 2003.

I have a few spreadsheets that are opened in Excel by using desktop icons, which is set to open in maximized format. Since the upgrade to WE 9.1, or maybe even 9, it does not talk when opened. If I alt-tab away and back again, then everything talks normally. Anyone know why or how to fix this?
