Hi,
You can't select where the file goes using help/check for updates.

However, from the run dialog, type %temp% and hit enter.
You can find the file there and copy it somewhere else.
It would be something like we91upgrade.exe

i am talking about when you use the w e help pull down to check for updates. 
when the upgrades are downloaded this way they are saved in the temp folder 
and i have not found any way to choose which folder i want to download the 
files to useing this method.

The only case when this wouldn't be true is if he chose a specific
folder for downloading files, as I have.  I created a folder called
downloads, and everything I download goes in there.
   but, a search for the file should find it no matter where it is.
