This is not strange at all. Remember the window-eyes programs starts twice.
Once at the log on screen. On the log on screen the settings that are used
are the settings contained in program data. These settings are never
changed generaly and will use the default sinthasizer. Usually dectalk
access 32. It seems that the default dectalk may not be on this system. If
that is the case it will go for the next possible device witch in this case
is Microsoft speech. This is ok everything is working as it should.

Subject: Yet another Wierd one

Does anybody else experience this one? Whenever I shut down my computer,
WE makes what I believe to be the startup sound, the harp sound
ascending, then the microsoft female voice comes up and it sounds like
she thinks WE is starting up, then of course the computer proceeds to
shut down like it should.

My chosen Synth is Eloquence, and that goes away when shutting down
altogether, but that sexy voice speaks to me on the way out.

Any ideas about stopping this behavior?
