Hi Neville,

Just a brief reply to your message about navigation of the ribbon.
Personally, very often, I can't even begin a navigation of the ribbon using
those one, two, three keystroke strings which Marc or others have
recommended.
So, what I do is use Alt, which calls up the ribbon, use arrow left and
right to pick the proper tab, and use the tabkey repeatedly to navigate
precisely to the command I need, and then spacebar to activate the control
I need and arrow keys and Enter as necessary.
I have noticed that this approach can give different verbosity than you get
by all this single-letter shortcutting, and, as I say, the navigation
shortcutting doesn't always work anyway.
I just thought I'd mention this, my friend.
Oh, and by the way, I'm still using Office 2010.

Good luck,

Rod

Subject: Word 2013 tutorial

Hi,
I am currently working my way through Marc Solomon's tutorial on
Word2013 and having a problem. Hopefully someone can help with a
solution.

When Marc is moving through the ribbon menu items, his syn is giving
lots more information and often saying, "Tell me more" which indicates
a back stage to the option.

I am not getting all of this info and have had a look through the
"Verbosity" settings but can't locate any checkboxes which, if checked,
would give me this extra info.

Could someone please inform me which boxes to check or uncheck so the
tutorials can be followed more closely?

Thanks
Neville.
