This is correct. Although with some video cards you might get a warning beep if no monitor is pluged in to the port. On a very few computers I have seen if no monitor is connected it may not boot. If this is the case someone will need to go in to the bios and fix this. As I said I have not seen this on very many boxes. Feel free then to use your system with no monitor.
