if the bookmark list is opened when firefox crashes try this. turn autoload off
then browse mode off. then open the bookmark list with control i. close it
after you have clicked on a bookmark link close it and turn browse mode and
autoload back on.
this is my only work arownd when useing the bookmark list.
it will hang every time i open it with browse mode and autoload left on. this
is with windows 7.
with windows 8.1 it does not hang. but i still have to turn browse mode off
before i open the bookmark list because w e will stay in the web page and not
go to the bookmark list until i turn browse mode mode off and press f6 twice to
get back to the list.

Hi gang,
I know this has been brought up before but I thought maybe somebody
has discovered some clues and fixes. My computer is crashing more
and more these days. When it goes silent I can usually wait up to
two or three minutes and it will come back. During the silent time
I'm not able to bring up NVDA either so I would guess we has nothing
to do with it. It crashes much more in IE as it does in firefox. I
can't figure out what all this means but thought someone out there
might have a clue. Running windoweyes 9.2 and windows 7 64
bit. Thanks for any ideas. The computer is hardly usable these days.
