Brice, I'm going to try doug's recommendation since I, too, have seen this behavior since moving to IE 11. As another tip beyond the Shift F10 or cotext key option to open in new window, which I do use at work for a couple specific reasons, I also use the Visited link hotkey to at least advance over most of the links, but I'll be really glad it Doug's suggestion works.
