Hi Butch, try search everything. It's a great utility for finding files.
I've just tried to find, using windows find facility, a file I was reading earlier. It told me zero results. How good is that? I guess that windows find may need some tweeking to interrogate the root of the drive where the file I know is resting. Search everything on the other hand, needed no tweeking, and found the file. The only kaviat, is that the results list view isn't always read by window-eyes, using the regular cursor keys, the mouse pointer is required. Try it. you won't be disappointed. I can't seem to read the list of files when looking for files in windows seven as I could in xp. Any suggestions? 73 Butch WA0VJR Node 3148 Wallace, ks. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
