Rod's information is very helpful. If you do want to associate the old sets,
you can do so by going into the WE Control Panel and to Option 11, which is
Association. First, however, you must have the GoldWave Program open and
then open the GoldWave set file from the WE Control Panel. I haven't worked
with GoldWave for a while, but I do remember that I set the keyboard voice
to on with characters.HTH.

Subject: Need help with Goldwave and We 9.1

   Hi,
In Goldwave when I go to edit a file, as I am playing we seems to turn
itself off, in other words, none of the key functions will speak as they
used to do in previous versions with xp. I am now using Windows 7 and
goldwave 5.7, along with We 9.10.
Now I have reinstalled all pertenant set files and aps. But when I go
to the we control panel and read the title, it still says Window-eyes
something, associated none. I have forgotten how to associate the goldwave
set files into we. So far, reading through the latest tutorial, I cannot
find out that information.
I am working on a important time sensitive project, so I would greatly
appreciate any expert advice.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Vinny Samarco
