Hi Jan, I wanted to clarify that Window-Eyes is capable of announcing dynamic changes to web page content in real time. But, this is only possible if the author of the web application follows accessibility guidelines and uses ARIA live regions. For example, if you are browsing the Twitter website with Window-Eyes, you will hear Window-Eyes automatically announce when new Tweets appear in your feed. This is because the Twitter developers made the effort to ensure dynamic content changes are accessible to everyone and they used ARIA live regions in their implementation. Regretfully, there isn't a setting in Window-Eyes that will fix the accessibility problem you are describing. Instead, the change would need to be made in the web application itself. Feel free to refer the web application developer to the following web page for more information about implementing ARIA live regions: http://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria-practices/#LiveRegions. Please note that even though you are not being notified of the dynamic content changes, you should still be able to access the new content with Window-Eyes. Kind Regards, Marc

There is a web site I must use for work in which WE does not announce changes to the page when I activate its controls. For example, when I press “enter” on a “clickable”, WE does not indicate that anything has changed. The only way I knew that it had was that a sighted person told me that it had. Otherwise, I would have thought the control wasn’t working. What settings do I have to change in WE to get it to announce these changes?
