Don,

When you are focused on the file, press Control-Shift-S twice. That will cause
Window-Eyes to spell it.

Subject: Requesting a simple script

I am writing in the hope that someone on list has sufficient expertise
at scripting to write a script otherwise known as an app which will
slowly spell the current file name. Yes, I know I can get the spelling
by doing such things as copying the file name to the clipboard with an
appropriate program and than opening a text editor to paste in the
copied text. What a pain just to determine the correct spelling
including punctuation marks.
I don't know with certainty when this became an issue. I think it
was Windows 8, but it sure was not an issue in XP.
Come on, someone, please step up to the plate and show your stuff.

Don Roberts
