Hi Rick, As I've mentioned before (with you and I on a different list), a blind individual can make use of the medical reimbursement account (part of flexible spending benefits) to pay not only obvious medical expenses, but also to pay expenses related to a disability. This can be for the care and feeding of a guide dog for instance, or special technology (I myself used it one year to pay for a portible book reader); anything which is especially produced and used by a disabled person is elligible. This may give the individual approximately a 20% discount by avoiding taxes on the money used for the expense.
This doesn't help the business owner if that's the kind of break you're looking for. In that case, you might look around for mailing lists used by blind small business owners.
