What program are you using to display the MathML? Most modern web browsers can display MathML. Microsoft Word's equation editor provides a limited MathML editor capability. There are also specific MathML editors.
I have been unsuccessful in having Window Eyes speak all facets of an equation created in Microsoft Word in its equation editor.
