Hi Rod: Do you mean you just toggled it on and off and on again using hot
keys and it fixed whatever problem you were having?
I run Eloquence and the only unusual thing is that the letter "I" is read in
a high pitched voice during a read to end. Otherwise your script seems to be
running normally and I don't even know at this time if it is caused by your
script or something else.
By the way, while I have your ear, what is the toggle hot key combo and is
it safe to toggle it or exactly what type of reading problem did you
encounter prior to toggling the script on and off?

Hi Tom and Rick,

One thing I noticed is that my CapEnhance app can have an effect on the
speaking of caps by toggling my app on and off. On my particular system,
the speaking of caps with pitch change wasn't working properly after my
upgrade to Window-Eyes 9.3 with Neospeech VW-Kate. Because my app toggles
screen and keyboard cap pitch as part of its code, I decided to test what
effect toggling my app's cap enhancement facility would have upon my
problem, and, sure enough, it seemed to correct my problem. Go figure.
Smile

All the best,

Rod

Regarding the pitch shift? Make sure that Screen, Other, Capitalization
alert is off.

Hi: This problem has seemingly gone away, no lost speech in a couple of days
now.
I have tweaked settings, downloaded a couple of audio / sound drivers so am
not sure which worked if any of these actions had anything to do with the
loss of speech during the read to end process.
The drivers under the real talk sound card under the sound item were up to
date but the 2 I had under the gaming item updated so were not up to date
after the Windows10 install it seems.
The only other thing I notice during read to end is that whenever the word I
as in I am having fun, speaks in a quite higher pitch while reading with the
read line command, down arrow, does not read it in the higher pitch - a
little annoying with the high pitch but perhaps that is a result of a script
I have or because of some setting and it does not comprimise the content so
is put on the back burner while I try to iron out other little problems.
But, thought I would touch bases and let you know things are not continuing,
no more sudden speech loss during read to end, which was quite prevalent a
few days ago.
Later and see you on the flip side.

I too have lost speech during read to end in InternetExplorer so this is not
unique to those programs.

Anyone else having a issue of losing speech when your laptop returns
from sleep mode? This has started after installing WE 9.3.1 on my
Windows 10 64 bit laptop.
