You can turn browse mode off with ctrl-shift-A, then shift-tab to the attachment name. You must then route the mouse pointer to that name and right-click that button. This is one case where the context-menu key doesn't do the same thing. This is problematic if there are multiple attachments, because Live Mail calls the list of attachments a slide show. But I just rechecked and see that if I hit Alt-7 twice, I can use the right and left arrows to select the buttons that represent each of the files. I still must route the mouse pointer to the appropriate button and right-click it to get a context menu that includes "open".
