F8 works in WLM. I copy and paste exactly the same way that Grant says.

First of all, F8 doesn't work unless you are using a program that makes
use of browse mode, such as Thunderbird, or IE. You need to use your
arrow keys along with the shift key to select your text, or ctrl-a to
select all, then ctrl-c to copy to clipboard, then ctrl-v to paste in to
your document.
