Hi Michael. Sky here. I have actually used Outlook 2013 successfully
without a hitch with Window-Eyes, and the issue you describe doesn't appear
to happen on my computer. and as for the search box issue that you
described, I get that problem on my computer so what I do is if I want to
open up outlook I type in the letters o u t and Window-Eyes will speak. What
steps are you using to get the message in outlook opened, and what does
Window-Eyes say when the message is opened? It might help, when diagnosing a
problem, to send the steps that you are doing so that a Window-Eyes user
such as myself can follow the steps and try to reproduce the problem. But, I
do have a suggestion:

Try pressing alt-shift-V in outlook 2013. What alt-shift-V does, is it turns
off the message vertualisation feature off. Then, if you press enter,
Outlook opens up the message, but it uses the word engine, rather than the
default setting, which is the message virtualization. Thanks, Sky.
