I just tried this myself, and believe me, I appreciate your frustration with
these newest versions of iTunes.
At first, I couldn't see my playlists either, but then I tabbed around a
bit, came back to the list of playlist, arrowed down a bunch of times, and,
lo and behold, the playlists I created appeared mixed in with those you
mentioned.
That's the secret to this new version of iTunes: tab around and arrow a
whole lot and things eventually appear.

since we just got an update), I have been unable to access any of my
playlists. I've got about ten made, but when I go into playlists all Is ee
are pre-set ones - Classical Music, 90's music, etc, that I didn't make.
What secret key do I need to press to get my playlists back?
