Also, shift f6 works to get you into the list. I had to press enter on the folder then f6 to get back into the message list.
They must have done an update recently on Outlook. -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:talk-bounces+joseph.norton=gmail....@lists.window-eyes.com] On Behalf Of Yusuf Osman via Talk Sent: Tuesday, August 9, 2016 7:37 AM To: Rod Hutton <rod_hut...@hotmail.com>; 'Window-Eyes Discussion List' <talk@lists.window-eyes.com> Subject: RE: Unable to access folders in Outlook2016 Glad to be of help, I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this change, or that found it really annoying. The control tab keystroke was discovered purely by accident and your right with the shift bit, it makes it quicker to go from inbox to folder list. I don't suppose there's much AI Squared can do about it as its obviously a Microsoft thing. A bit of a nuisance though. Note that Control-Tab and then adding the Shift key for the other direction makes it possible to go in and out of the message list and back to the tree view. I really thank you so much for this. This happened to me before bedtime and it drove me nuts and cost me some sleep. I even uninstalled the Outlook Enhance app. The funny thing about that was that I noticed that the one I had previously installed, which came from my installation of WE 9.5.1 is newer than the one on App Central. I was told this when I went to install it over the one I had installed. This is simply a note for the AI Squared staff. Thanks again so much from the bottom of my heart. It works as you say. I also found that control shift tab will move me into the list of folders in the same way that shift tab used to do. Usually I do shift tab from the list of emails in my main in-box and then either cursor down to the folder I want, or press the first letter of the folder to select it, then press enter to access the emails. When I tried that this morning I couldn't access the folder list. When I pressed shift tab WE said "current mailbox closed", I wasn't able to open it with the right cursor key, cursoring down did nothing, pressing spacebar seemed to open some kind of menu, but I ended up going round and round in circles not getting anywhere. I'm guessing that Outlook has done some kind of update without asking me. Can anyone help? Oh yes I'm running the latest version of WE and I've just looked and the correct Outlook app and set file are both running.
