Go to this page and see if this helps. It involves a registry edit. http://www.howtogeek.com/265027/how-to-disable-cortana-in-windows-10/ ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim via Talk To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Sent: Saturday, October 8, 2016 7:38 PM Subject: searching for files in Windows 10
Hi there FOLKS! Was wondering if someone here could give me a quick refresher in just how to search for files and folders in Windows10? I go to the start key and when I type in a search string, the system wants to do the search on the internet. I want to do the search on my system. Can someone please explain to me how to change the search from an internet search to a computer search? I feel like I am missing something rather simple here<SMILE!>. Thanks & Have A Great Day! de <KF8LT><Jim>. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
