Window Eyes and using a Data base, has always been a bit of a problem. I have attempted to use Set Files made to operate Earlier editions of Access, but They may have worked with a Database already created, but they would not let me create my own Database.
I had issues even using a inherited Database, used in the Tech department I once worked. There are so many Databases being used these days, both on most jobs, as well as on many Web Sites. From what I've found, Window Eyes can read some things, just not enough to use the Database. This may not be entirely the fault of Window Eyes, as the way a program is programmed can have a lot to do with what gets read by a Screen Reader and what does not. JAWS is said to read a Database better, but how much better would be the question I would need to ask. Seems like if any Screen Reader was able to read a Database well, we all would have known about it by now. I keep hoping to hear some good news, when it comes to using Databases, but so far, no news has meant Databases are still a problem area for Screen Readers.
