If using AVG, go to its options, advance. And turn off display tooltips.

I have seen this cause focus issues...perhaps Whatever antivirus yourrunning has an option to turn off tooltips.

When new mail arrives, Window-Eyes loses focus.

How can I correct this?

I haven't looked at WLM in a few years, so I'm going from memory. From theinbox, press Alt-F, T to open the WLM options. Next, go to the Mail tab, andlook for an option that says something to the effect of, "show an envelopeicon when new mail arrives." Uncheck it, hit Enter to accept the change, andyou should be all set.

If that doesn't work or you can't locate the option, I recommend pinggingthe Microsoft Disability Answer Desk for help. They can be reached at (800)936-5900.

Disabling the option to have new mail notifications appear in the systemtray in WLM itself should fix this.

Ever since installing the latest version of WE, when ever I am reading orwriting a WLM email,or doing work using Word, when ever a new email comesin, WE loses focus and goes somewhere else. I have to fish around,especially if I have several windows open, in order to find and continue mywork.



Why is this? Is there any way to stop
WE from doing this?
