I agree, you do get what you pay for, although I have NVDA and it has
made some strides toward becoming relevant I still think it has aways to
go before I would make it my main screen reader. Yes, I do use it when
W.E. won't work, which up to now isn't very often, but we will see what

For those who are concerned about the future of Window Eyes I have finally
started using NVDA. Keeping in mind my main computer usage involves Email
and Web Surfing I find NVDA either equal or better than WE. So I highly
recommend if you haven't done so install NVDA and begin learning its
commands and usage. I think you will be impressed. There is a very helpful
NVDA users list as well. Like many have already expressed the chances of me
moving to JAWS is slim and none.
