Hi Everyone I am using the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Professional, Window-Eyes 9.5.4, Firefox and a Brailliant 64 braille display.
Since I got my new computer in December I have uninstalled and reinstalled Window-Eyes a number of times in order to sort out various problems. Following the latest install and subsequent upgrade to 9.4.5, sometimes when I use Firefox to access the internet the braille display stops working. This always happens using Google. Sometimes the Eloquence speech crackles as well. The only way to get the braille back is to close Window-Eyes down and restart it. Simply restarting it or re-initialising the display does not work. I can usually get the braille back once I have found the page I want in Google. Has anyone else experienced this problem? AI Squared knew nothing about it.
