usually you use a program like vmware (virtual machine)
to run another operating system on the same computer.
like have windows 7 as the main system or boot to linex or xp etc.
or on the mac you can run both the mac o/s or windows on the same machine. you
just have to choose which system you want to boot to.

Hi.
I found an old VM machine I've been meaning to run. Only it seems to updated
windows, I never ran the last update, and now I get a referral was returned
from the server.
Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? I can't update from the app,
because window eyes won't open.
