The sad part is that I've tried that entire procedure. However, I"ll do it
again, there might have been something I missed and just didn't realize it.
Message virtualization never has worked though with this current situation.
All sets are up to date, but the add-in has been disabling itself a lot,
even after I check the box. So I did a remove of the add-in within outlook
as an admin and then re-instaled the outlook enhanced ap. Weirdly enough, I
never got the prompt to install the add-in. But last I looked it was checked
but the messages still weren't displaying properly. I'm on my desktop now
but I brought that laptop home to work on this issue. So I'll try again, all
the steps you mentioned. Thanks for reminding me that the attachment list
hotkey is alt-7 I had forgotten about that. Often, even when the messages
are in the browse mode configuration, window-eyes still says that the from,
to, cc, ect, fields cannot be found. Why that is I have no idea but in this
case it's a separate issue. So, enough of my rambling. Thanks, I will report
back. If anyone else has any other suggestions, I'm open to them.

Hi Dave,

How to configure Window-Eyes for use with Outlook

First, you must install the set files for the most current version of Office
or whatever version of Office you are using.
This is done from the Factory Settings dialog, opened from the File menu
within the Window-Eyes control panel.
Indeed, Office 365 is the most accessible version of Office to use with any
screen reader.
At the time of this writing, Office 2016 is the most current version of
Office, and it is the version included in Office 365.
Then, install the Office Enhance app, and then the Outlook Enhance app, in
this precise order.
Even if the above two apps are already installed, you can reinstall them
without uninstalling them.
Note that a reboot is always required after installing the Outlook Enhance
app.
Next, make sure that the Outlook Enhance add-on isn't disabled within
Outlook, as follows:
>From the main Outlook window, press:
alt-f, t, A twice, tab 4 times.
Down arrow to disabled and tab to go and press enter.
Next, arrow through, if something like Outlook Enhance is in the list, press
space on it.
Shift-tab to enable and press enter.
Press Ok or close all dialogs you opened.
Restart outlook.

A point about the display of messages in the message window:
Alt-Shift-V toggles the virtualization of messages, that is, the display of
message content like a web page.
This is the most convenient way to display messages since it allows the
opening of web page links from within messages just as though you had opened
them on a web page.
Message virtualization can also be toggled from the Outlook Enhance app menu
from within the Window-Eyes control panel.

Further, from within the message window, the hot keys Alt-1 through 7 read
the message headers, and, any of these, pressed a second time, will place
the cursor on the corresponding header.
Also, the hot key Control-Alt-A opens the Save Attachments dialog, where you
can choose a location to save any or all the files attached to the message.
Note that if the dialog does not appear when you press this hot key, the
dialog may have opened, but you may need to Alt-tab to it.
Attachments can also be save by choosing the File Attachments option from
the File menu within the message window.
Perhaps the easiest method of handling attachments is to press Alt-7 twice
to focus the list of attachments, and you can tab through the various
options for opening or saving any or all of them.

Regarding the reading of headers or saving attachments, it is possible that
these functions might not be available or perform as expected.
In this case, it may be necessary to repeat the above configuration steps,
or simply restart Outlook, or even reboot the system to reset all of the
required components.
This should get everything up and running properly.

Subject: Outlook 2016 won't load messages in browse mode buffer

Hi there. I have a laptop that I use at work that won't load outlook 2016
messages in the browse mode buffer. It loads it as if it were a message to
be typed in and thinks that there are a lot of tables and web fields. I have
thelatest window-eyes with the latest version of the Outlook Enhanced app
installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office a few times, no luck. I
have also uninstalled and reinstalled the outlook enhanced add-in from
Outlook, also no luck. I know I've run into this problem before but I can't
remember how I fixed it in the past. I really don't want to uninstall
window-eyes, but if I have to, I guess I'll have to, and start from scratch.
That sucks because it would take me a good while to get the apps back to the
settings I had them.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this issue? Maybe it's a simple fix that
I'm overlooking?

Thanks, Dave
