Hi Shannon, I'd like to affirm Carol's advice. Also, if custom scripts were written for you, then you should have been given the wepm packages and so you need to ensure you have them. As an app developer myself, I know that, typically, apps produce files with the INI file extension, and these are created when the app is first installed and they usually reside in the Window-Eyes Profiles folder as Carol mentioned. These INI files are also updated as you use the app to which they pertain. Since app developers can pretty much produce apps which can do anything they want, it is possible that any number of files and/or folders can pertain to any given app, and the folders and files which pertain to them could be placed anywhere on your system. Therefore, my recommendation is to read the app-specific documentation to find out how to back up the app-specific settings, or contact the app developer to enquire if there are any recommendations for backing up and re-installing it. At a minimum, you should do what Carol suggested and make a copy of the default Window-Eyes Profile folder. Most of the app-specific settings, as I say, should be there. Feel free to contact me on or off list if you need more help. I can also speak with you via long distance, Skype or Facetime.

Hello all, I still am using my WE for now. I am having computer problems and will probably need to Wipe this unit completely and start over. I do have the install file for WE downloaded here but. I had some custom scripts written for WE. Can I recover these files and reinstall them in a new install of WE on the clean machine? I don't know where the script files would be saved and how to save them to reinstall them later. Can anyone help me find and save these files?
