Hi Richard,
I am only making a guess here as I don't currently have anything
downloading to check with. I didn't see which browser you are using,
but here are a few suggestions:
control+j works in at least two browsers. I remember that one, if not
both, will open in a separate window, so it might be that you will need
to alt-tab to get to the downloads screen. Once there, tab through the
different screens until you find one that says something like list view
or view files. From there, you should be able to see what is or has
reecently downloaded. There should be a link or button that will also
take you directly to your downloads folder, with either the namd of
downloads or, with the name of the assigned file you named for all
downloads, if you changed it in your browser. The control+j is strictly
a window to show progress.
