Hi Carol, The ones without a blank entry can be left as is. I don't know much about what up an down arrows do, only left and right. The degree of seek that the left and right arrows perform is usually quickly set using Shift-0 through Shift-6, as seen in the View menu. The only useful app is the one I wrote, the GoldWave Enhance app, and has three hot keys for reading the begin and end markers, as well as the total time between them.
