Hey Carol, Windows 10 makes this very easy. Just highlight an .mp3 file,
go to the context menu and choose properties, and you will see an option
to change. Press enter on that, and you will see a list of options for
the app to open, and from that list choose Winamp and hit OK, and you're
good to go.
This should work through Winamp, and with XP, it did, but that simple
method isn't what it used to be. This is really convenient though.
HTH,
Larry

Hi Group!
I would like to have my Windows 10 PC play .wav files with Winamp.
How can I make this happen? I chose that option when I installed
Winamp, but every time I open a .wav file, it opens in Groove player
or whatever that program is called.
Thanks for any help.
Carol
