I should have been more specific. The program I am using is called open
drive. It is like another drive on my system. There is nothing like
the help menu where one would find things like update. Maybe I should
check with the distributor. Thanks anyway for your ideas.

website for software running on your machine since there is always a built-in
mechanism for manually and/or automatically checking for updates.
As for Windows itself, typing the word check into the search box should yield
the result check for updates, and pressing Enter on this result opens a control
panel dialog displaying the current update status, along with options for
uninstalling updates.

Hi Rod,
I found another notification for the update I needed today. I pressed
enter on the one that said click here to install or update, I am not
sure now, exactly what it said, and it took way the total indicator that
there was an update at all. It will also remove the update notification
if I route the mouse to the click here text. I guess I will just need
to go to the web site and pick up the latest update. Thanks for trying
to help.

I will occasionally get a message telling me there is an new update for
something and it says to click here to install. I can not get this to
work. Instead of installing the new update, it simply removes the
notification. I have tried routing the cursor, routing the mouse and
nothing helps. Does anyone have an answer? Thanks.
