I tried NBP and found a couple of books I figure will help, but none
actually cane close to really fmoothing my trip from windows 7 to 10. Maybe
my having been a GW user from vocal eyes 1.0 all the way to win eyes 9.xx
The brain is a bit slower these days.
I have tried but not yet succeeded getting the manual from asus. The
problem I believe was operator errors. Happens mor often that it should.

National Braille Press has a lot of books available:
www.nbp.org
If someone doesn't have the manual you are looking for, you can also go to
the asus website, find their support area and there's likely documentation
available to download.
I also had to learn windows 10 rather abruptly too because the Windows 7
laptop I have suddenly lotst all connectivity to networks and WiFi. The
Laptop is still quite functional but I haven't been able to fix the
connectivity issues.

I too am having to learn windows 10 and to make it harder, I am also
learning a new computer which lacks a manual. Any help transitioning from
windows 7 to windows 10 would be appreciated. While I'm asking, anyone have
a manual for an asus v75n1a? RD.

Subject: Windows 10 with narrator and jaws
Hi Listers,
Before my win7 machine dies and/or win7 is no longer supported I decided to
learn to use my win10 laptop.
I like Narrator for most windows things but still need jaws for ff, tb, and
chrome.
I can’t figure out MS edge which is the only internet program that works
with narrator. It sure would be nice to be able to use it in case jaws gets
too expensive.
Windows mail is usuable, but I still have a lot to figure out.
Any tips on Ms edge or win10 with jaws or narrator would be appreciated. I’ll
save learning NVDA for later as that would just be too much to learn.
Thanks for any tips etc.
Brenda
Still missing Window-Eyes but trying to move on.
