as far as i understand some of your questions, all of them can be change in the cursoring rea. to change ctrl - left and right arrow is to change from word to word enhance for what you want to do.
As for the second question, you should change your keylabel dictionary to read what you want to do The third question, I think, is something to do with the cursoring i think. i am not sure as well as i don't know what you want to do or i don't know of that function. but, it should be in the cursoring area. As for the word question, I am not certain I understand, so I might not be able to answer that as for the help, i just did at my end on my 9.54, it works fine. something might be missing for the manual for your case.
