So I found out that the USGS has some newer high-res imagery for the
county that I live in. I'd been using the USGS Seamless server to
access some high resolution imagery from 2009. Now the USGS has
imagery from 2010, unfortunately only available from their Tiled
service. I've downloaded a few tiles and used them in Merkaartor to
clean up a few things (I couldn't get JOSM to display the TIFFs
properly). However, downloading the images for my entire county to
home wouldn't be practical (too slow) and using work resources
wouldn't be ethical.

Is there a way to get the images out of the USGS (without spending a
lot of money I don't have) and is there someone out there that could
host the imagery and serve them up so that I (and whomever else) could
use them with JOSM?
