Most of the available mobile phone software has problems with reliability on handhelds that are not identical to those that development
took place on . I have good experiences with whereami, who's only reliability problem is the red button on the Nokia, ending the program without message. Not necessarily true for your phone however. (This question is also posted on the Mobile Trail Explorer ML.) I made a 4 hour trip, recording over 100 places in audio with MTE. But the saved gpx is 0 byte long. Fortunately, I also saved the trace as a kml, which displays correctly in google earth. But if I try to convert from kml to gpx with GPSBabel, I get a "trackfilter-init: Found track point without time!" error, and no conversion occurs. Does someone know a way to use my data ? Thank you for advice !
