The tile server generates tiles using mod_tile [1]. This renders them on request if they haven't already been done. There are many millions of tiles on the tile server, taking up GBs of space. If you just want prerendered tiles then you'll need to modify the area being rendered by the generate_tiles script. It's currently hardcoded to render some cities at the bottom of the file.
