Thanks Joerg, If you can update the debian and ubuntu packages of gosmore, I'd be grateful. Andreas Putzo created a debian package by back porting some stuff. The bug that he sidestepped has since been fixed. So creating a debian package should no longer require any patching.
Ubuntu.com is currently distributing an API 0.4 version of gosmore. So if you can just block that, I'd be grateful.
