Oh, I don't know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TopSat http://www.qinetiq.com/home/defence/defence_solutions/space/topsat.html Apparently you can rent it for £25k a week... easily within the ambition of donate.openstreetmap.org. (And they give the images free to humanitarian agencies, see http://www.qinetiq.com/home/newsroom/news_releases_homepage/2007/4th_quarter/topsat_satellite_imagery.html - Mikel, do you reckon we could get in on that?) MP's point about what you do with the vast quantities of data that you get is well-observed, of course. But we like a challenge. cheers Richard -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Satellite-for-OSM-tp23587856p23588185.html Sent from the OpenStreetMap - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ talk mailing list talk@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk
