Or a mobile phone with built-in GPS. The cheapest I can find in the Netherlands is a Nokia N78 with GPS (TI GPS5300) and 3.1 MP camera for 200 (that is bare phone price, no subscription rate). There are loads of phones in the 200 - 250 pricerange, probably all with a camera. Usually, getting a phone together with a subscription means getting the phone for little or no money at all. I have no idea how good the GPS receivers on mobile phones are, but if that is the pricerange a homebuilt camera/logger has to go for, I'd opt for a mobile phone instead.
