there is also this Perl script by Richard Fairhurst, which converts OSM to Illustrator 6, but then it's a lot of work to assemble the map, you will have to assign a style to each entity (you can do a search, as OSM-tags are converted and added into the ai-file): http://svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/utils/export/osm2ai/ instructions in English here: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Exporting_to_Adobe_Illustrator it is some work, but if you want to do just one design it might be not too difficult (you can use the application that you're used to).
