We had this discussion way way way way back, and I vaguely remember suggesting "Classic style" and "Community style". But really, it's none of my business. Steve (Ch), Lennard, and Jon are the ones who get to decide what the "Mapnik" style is called; spaetz, petschge, deelkar et al get to decide what the "Osmarender" layer is called.
