Yes, but when you start doing stuff like: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/5342181 and: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/5339329 you really do have a duty to explain yourself a bit better. An automatic summary may well produce, "Removed amenity tag from 5 thousand nodes, please revert me".
