Thanks Fabian, this is a useful tool for showing just how much data would be removed under a strict interpretation of the process. Almost all roads in the cities I checked was either yellow or red and so would be impacted. Although the situation does look dire for Australian cities, this is not primarily a reflection of the ODBL! It's largely because of the effect of the current Contributor Terms that makes only original works or public domain works compatible. I suspect this will start looking better for Australian cities after improved terms like the draft v1.2 of Contributor Terms are adopted, and we have certainty that OSM will keep the data derived from the best aerial photographs, and that mappers can continue using them as a source. -- Simon.
