iirc from the commit logs, the edit tab is a temporary place for the
data layer link as part of the ongoing site improvements.

That's good to hear, because I think Toby is right and hiding the option to *view* the data in a hover menu on the *edit* button is far from obvious. (That was actually the text I got from my girlfriend, when she wanted to view some data, that she could not see directly in the rendering.)

So thanks for that info to you Richard and thanks Toby for telling where to find the Data Layer in the first place.
